Fabulously Delicious: Dulce de Leche Brownie Trifle
I decided to make a Dulce de Leche Brownie trifle with toffee bits and Snickers bites... I mean, come. on. This is SOOO easy, it truly is! No baking, no slicing and dicing, all you gotta do is make that homemade dulce le leche whipped cream. It's eaaaassssyyyy, I promise! Here we go!
- 1 Container of Just Desserts Brownie Bites (I broke them into chunks with my hands)
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 1.5 TBSP powdered sugar
- 1 - 8.1 oz jar Trader Joe's Dulce de Leche (or whichever you prefer!)
- 1 - 8 oz. bag Heath Toffee Bits
- 1 - 10 oz. bag Snickers Baking Bites (cut in half if you'd like)
Chill a large mixing bowl and whisk attachment by placing them in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
Pour whipping cream into a large, chilled mixing bowl and whip cream with a mixer on high until stiff peaks form. When cream is peaking, add powdered sugar and mix for about 15 seconds more.
Add dulce de leche to the whipped cream, a spoonful or two at a time and continue mixing until you've completely folded it all into the whipped cream. Set aside.
Break apart the brownie bites into chunks and layer half of them into the bottom of a large glass trifle bowl (a regular big glass bowl would work just fine!).
Layer 1/2 of the dulce de leche whipped cream over the brownie bites.
Sprinkle a layer of Heath Toffee Bits and Snickers Baking Bites over the whipped cream layer.
Add another layer of brownie bites, then the remaining dulce de leche whipped cream, then arrange the rest of the toffee bits and Snickers bites pretty on top! Chill for an hour before serving.
So there you have it! I told you it was easy! So indulgent and you'll receive comments like "This is the best thing you've ever made!" and "You've done it again!" because you nailed it and you're awesome!
