Sunday Verses From the Heart

How was your week? Any challenges? This week had its ups and downs for me, but thankfully God showed me a sign that really opened my eyes up. It was supposed to rain for seven days straight this past week and instead, He blessed us with beautiful sunshine within those seven days. For me, that was a sign to always find the light within the darkness in any situation you may be struggling with. I have really tried my best, especially this past week to see the brighter side of things, to try and take the good with the bad because we all know that unfortunately we are going to face some tough situations in our lives. That's why we have to pray, have hope and have faith that God will help us through those tough times. We have to also remember that we're not alone and we shouldn't have to be!

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
— Galations 6:9-10 (NIV)

I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.
— 1 Corinthians 2:3-5 (NIV)

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
— Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord promised to those who love him.
— James 1:12 (NIV)

In all your ways remember him. Then he will make your paths smooth and straight.
— Proverbs 3:6 (NIV)

If you're music person like me, this album really got through to me this week as well. I can't tell you how many times I listened to it! The words are priceless.

I hope these words give you encouragement to start a fresh new week! Happy Sunday!
